Climate Change and Drylands by CGIAR Research Program on Dryland Systems on Exposure

Dryland ecosystems are particularly fragile and sensitive to climate change and the people living in rural communities in the world’s driest areas are hit hardest by its impacts. Nevertheless, these communities are also often overlooked when global development agendas and climate change mitigation strategies are shaped.

To this end, the CGIAR Research Program on Dryland Systems is launching Climate Change and Drylands, an Exposure story outlining some climate-smart agriculture solutions for food security and sustainable livelihoods in drylands
