NJOYA Aboubakar is the Co-Director of the Regional Pilot Program "Global Change, Biodiversity and Health in the rainforests of Central Africa. He holds PhD, Animal Science, Animal Nutrition and a Deputy Director General, Director of Scientific Research of the Institute of Agricultural Research for Development (IRAD, Cameroon), and National Coordinator of the Agricultural Research and Extension Program of Cameroon.
Before that he was the Director General of Agricultural and Rural Development Strategies - Consulting Group (ARDS-CG) in Youanda Cameron and a trainer of researchers of Central Africa (ACP/FORENET) network on the functioning of research networks and an expert evaluator of Individual assessment of researchers in (CIRAD), Montpellier, France, and expert evaluator of the ‘Sud Expert Plantes’ Project, French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.
He has published several scientific papers in English and French such as Designing a Process of Co-Management of Crop Residues for Forage and Soil Conservation in Sudano-Sahel, Savoirs locaux et apprentissage du partenariat dans la gestion des écosystèmes forestiers humides au Cameroun, The potential role of an inactivated thermostable vaccine in the control of Newcastle disease in traditionally freeroaming poultry in Central and West Africa,Tropical Animal Health and Production and many others.
