Dr. Raymond Voudouhe is a geneticist and plant breeder and a Director of national crop research Center (Benin-representative).
During the last thirty six years he have developed experiences in germplasm collecting, characterizing, evaluating, conserving and crop improvement for resistance/tolerance to disease and drought and for adaptation to climate variation in humid tropics and dry land systems of West Africa. He has been the leader of the National Rice Programme for West and Central Africa since 1997 and has developed management skills and coordinated several research projects at national, regional and international levels.
Dr. Voudouhe has authored and co-authored more than 80 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and conference papers.
