Dr. Sami Sabry is emeritus professor at Field Crops Research Institute in Egypt. He holds an M.Sc. in Agronomy from AinShams University, Egypt and a Ph.D from the Department of Plant and Soil Science at Montana State Univeristy, USA.

Before that he worked as an associate professor since 1995 and Head of the wheat reseach program at the same institute.

Dr. Sabry has published his work at several scientific journals. Key publicaitons are: Osmoregulation in spring wheat under drought and salinity stress, Endophytic establishment of Azorhizobium Caulinodans in Wheat, Biochemical Genetic Markers for Salt Tolerance in Wheat Embryonic Calli.J.
