Ms. Nozilakhon is an interdisciplinary scientist with over 10 years of experience working in research and development fields focusing on gender, institutions and policies in Central Asia.
She holds Master degree in International Cooperation and Development from School of Advanced Studies Pavia, Italy and BA degree in Economics from Russian Economic Academy named after G.V Plekhanov, Uzbekistan.
She has been serving as a gender specialist for International Water Management Institute since 2011 and during this time, she has been conducting her research on gender and social aspects within water management in irrigated agricultural livelihoods, as well as on land and water reforms in three Central Asian countries.
Prior to joining current institution, she worked as a gender and public awareness specialist for ADB, UNDP and has been involved in development and technical assistance programs within several NGOs in Central Asia.
She has authored and co-authored more than 10 peer-reviewed publications, including, research reports, conference papers, etc.
