Anja joined the World Agroforestry Centre in 2010 to lead the research methods group that helps ensure the Centre’s science quality. Her group assists in the design of research projects and in the management and analysis of data. Previously Anja ran a sustainable land management consultancy in Sabah, Borneo and lectured in statistics at the University of Malaysia. She also worked for several years in the Federal Ministry of Agriculture in Germany. Anja has a PhD in Precision Farming from the University of Braunschweig, Germany and a Masters in Environmental Geochemistry from the University of Capetown, South Africa.
